Parx Racing® Handicapping Contest
AT THE TRACK & ALL TURF CLUBS

FORMAT:

Bet at least 4 Parx races and 3 Tampa Bay races. No maximum number of races. Win Place or Show. Minimum of $2 per race wagered. No maximum amount of wagers. The largest bankrolls after Parx and Tampa Bay are completed are the winners

ENTRY/BANKROLL:

$100 includes a $40 non-refundable entry fee and a $60 real money bank roll deposited to a Phonebet Account for use on this one day. Only activity into this account will be considered. A card will be issued for use in the self service terminals. Parx Phonebet customers may call the Business Office at 1-888-238-2946 for information on setting up a Handicapping Contest Account from home.

REGISTRATION:

Begins now and ends March 12th. Registration open until Race 4 at Parx is official the day of the contest.Entries will be accepted on a first come/first served basis. Each contestant will be allowed a maximum of two entries.

PRIZES:

The purse will be determined by the number of entries. 100% of the entry fee will be returned as cash prizes. Prizes will be adjusted accordingly based on the actual number of participants as follows:

  • GRAND PRIZE: 50% of Entry Fees and a Samsung 46” Smart LED TV
  • 2ND: 20% of Entry Fees and Dinner for Two ($100 maximum check)
  • 3RD: 15% of Entry Fees
  • 4TH: 10% of Entry Fees
  • 5TH: 5% of Entry Fees

All entrants will receive a complimentary Parx program for the Day of the Contest and a $10 lunch voucher.

Must be 18 years of age or older by March 12, 2016. Employees of Parx Casino® & Parx® Racing or Sportech, Inc. are ineligible, All wagers will be made on self-service terminals, “Tiny Tims” or through online wagering using Phonebet.com. Players on the Leaderboard (top 25) CANNOT withdraw their balance until 15 minutes after the last race in the contest is official. Doing so results in automatic disqualification. Adding additional cash to bankroll results in automatic disqualification. No cancellation on any wagers for any reason. Entrants will keep all monies remaining in betting account at the end of contest. Parx Racing® and Sportech, Inc are not responsible for “shut-outs” or incomplete transactions. No exceptions under any circumstances. The decision of Parx Racing® in all matters or disputes relating to this handicapping challenge is final. Parx Racing® reserves the right to make changes to the contest rules and or format as necessary. Disqualification will result if: Any Cancellations are made to an account. Any Deposits or Withdrawals are made to an account. Any bets other than those stated in the rules are made to an account. Any bets are placed on tracks other than Parx or Tampa Bay.
